Critically injured in Barcelona after jumping from a fourth floor after stabbing three people

A man is in critical condition after jumping from a fourth-floor balcony in Barcelona. The man had stabbed three people inside the home. One of the injured is in serious condition. The incident took place this Sunday at a residence located at number 162 Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona.

It appears that three men live at the residence, located on the fourth floor of the building. This Sunday, a woman was also at the apartment, who is in a romantic relationship with one of the residents. For unknown reasons, one of the men living in the apartment went to the room where the couple was and stabbed both of them; the man who was attacked is the one in serious condition. Upon hearing the screams, the third resident went to the room, at which point he was also injured by the attacker, although in this case the injuries are minor.

After the triple stabbing, the aggressor self-harmed, headed to the balcony, and threw himself into the void. The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
