Coping with cancer

Immunotherapy is the most promising tool in the fight against cancer

Scientific research requires effort and time, but it has key consequences for people's lives today. What we explain in this dossier is a clear example. It's been just over a decade since the first cancer immunotherapies were approved, and what began as experimental treatments are now an essential tool used by an increasing number of patients. We can't yet say we've won the battle against cancer, but we're on the right track, and the survival rate and quality of life of those who suffer from it have greatly improved, thanks in part to these new therapies.
