Consum will manage the supermarket in the new Mercado de la Abaceria

The Barcelona Institute of Municipal Markets has awarded the contract for the new Mercat de la Abacería supermarket to Consum Cooperativa. The contract was awarded for €10 million and a 39-year concession. The supermarket will be located in the basement level -1 of the new market and is scheduled to open in 2026.
