Barcelona Mayor Jaume Collboni welcomed the airport expansion proposal made by the President of the Generalitat (Catalan Government), Salvador Illa, on Tuesday. However, he requested that metropolitan municipalities be part of the panel that will decide how the project will ultimately materialize.
