Blood Bank Appeal: Donations Drop 20% This Summer

Blood, plasma, and platelet supplies decrease in the summer due to the reduction in donations with the start of the holidays. The Blood and Tissue Bank estimates that they have dropped by 20% this year and is calling for increased supplies with the "Recharged Batteries, Recharged Lives" campaign, especially for young people.
