Barcelona is open to raising property taxes for those who own more than one apartment.

Barcelona City Council's Economic Commission approved this Wednesday a proposal from Barcelona en Común urging Jaume Collboni's government to submit to the State within six months a modification to the local tax law to establish a progressive property tax (IBI).
