Barcelona is attempting to speed up the cancellation of 260 tourist apartment licenses in Ciutat Vella.

Barcelona City Council has launched an administrative procedure to annul 260 tourist apartment licenses in Ciutat Vella granted between 2005 and 2006. These licenses may have been fraudulently granted as part of a scheme involving businessmen who bribed district officials.
