Barcelona expands its underground air conditioning network with a third plant in 2026.

Construction of the third Districlima underground air conditioning plant, to expand Barcelona's heating and cooling network, has reached its midpoint with the start of work on the tunnel boring machine. This underground facility generates cold using seawater.
