Barcelona City Council rejects the creation of a study commission against speculative housing purchases

Barcelona will not have a commission to study speculative housing purchases. The city council rejected the municipal government's proposal to create the body, which was to be chaired by Elisenda Alamany, the ERC leader in the council, with votes against from Junts, Barcelona en Comú, the PP, and Vox.
