Barcelona activates the daytime alert phase and the torrid nights of the Pla de Calor

Barcelona City Council has activated the daytime and torrid night alert phase of the Pla de Calor (Hot Weather Plan) due to forecasts of temperatures exceeding 34 or 35 degrees Celsius during the day. The nighttime alert phase was activated tonight and is expected to continue for the coming days.
