Arrested for trying to kill her daughter by poisoning her with a yogurt full of drugs

BarcelonaNational Police officers have arrested a woman in Madrid for allegedly trying to kill her 10-year-old daughter by poisoning her with yogurt containing a large amount of medication. The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 9, in the Ciudad Lineal district. The suspect's older children were the ones who found their mother and sister unconscious when they arrived home.
The siblings themselves notified the emergency services, as reported by the agency. The World This Tuesday. A Spanish police patrol car was also dispatched to the family's apartment, and officers found a large quantity of medication. They also found a yogurt container with traces of a powdery substance inside, which is what the woman allegedly used to poison her daughter.
Both the girl and the woman were poisoned from having ingested a large quantity of medication, according to the emergency services personnel who attended to them at the time. Therefore, both were taken to a hospital, where the woman was taken into police custody and arrested for alleged attempted murder.
