Detained for killing partner with poison in Manresa
The man, 46 years old, died in February in the hospital and the woman has been admitted to provisional prison
BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 41-year-old woman in Sant Salvador de Guardiola (Bages) as the alleged perpetrator of the violent death of her partner, a 46-year-old man. The events date back to last February in Manresa. A man was admitted to the hospital and ended up dying. Initially, no obvious signs of criminality were found on his body, but the investigation eventually took a turn.
According to sources consulted by ARA, subsequent reports concluded that the man had been poisoned. For this reason, the case was taken over by criminal investigation specialists, the DIC of the Mossos, who have ended up focusing on the deceased man's partner.
After months of investigation, the Catalan police finally arrested the woman on June 25 in the town of Sant Salvador de Guardiola. Once she was brought before the court, the courts of Manresa ordered her provisional imprisonment, as also reported this Saturday by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC).
