An international truck driver wanted for drug trafficking in Germany was arrested in Santa Perpètua (Vallès Occidental).

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested a truck driver at the CIM Vallès de Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Vallès Occidental) who had fled Germany, where he faced more than five years in prison for drug trafficking. The man had transported more than 250 kg of marijuana and hashish, with a street value of approximately €500,000.
