An 80-year-old woman dies drowned on the Arquitecte beach in L'Ampolla

An 80-year-old woman died this Saturday while bathing on Arquitecte beach in L'Ampolla, in Baix Ebre. The alert to 112 was received shortly after 1 p.m., when several people reported that an unconscious bather had been pulled from the water. The beach has no lifeguard service.
