Strategic alliance for research between the Catalan and Japanese synchrotrons

The Alba synchrotron and Japan's Riken Spring-8 have signed a research cooperation agreement on synchrotron radiation technology, a source of very high-energy X-rays. The agreement will allow for the exchange of academic information and interaction between the institutions' staff and academics.
