Following the template of the speeches his father already used, Felipe de Borbón went to the Poblet monastery and encouraged us, specifically, to give “continuity to all this network of relationships and common interests that was once the core of this monument”. Or, in an even more cryptic circumlocution: “There is enormous potential for cooperation between the territories that today occupy the autonomous communities representing some of the most prosperous and developed areas of our country”.

Fifteen years had to pass, with the 'Procés' in between, for the Crown of Aragon to be made visible once again: it took place at the meeting in the Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet. King Felipe VI presided this Thursday over the meeting of the Poblet board of trustees with the Catalan, Valencian, Balearic, and Aragonese presidents, in addition to the Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun. All together, beyond highlighting the common history with the kings buried in the royal pantheon of this monastery founded in the 12th century, and which is reflected by the four common bars on the flags of the territories, they wanted to celebrate the common Spanish project.

After removing the thorn from roll one thriller with Wild RouteMarc Recha (Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1970) has been able to make another dream come true: to shoot a film in the Poblet monastery, the first to be filmed entirely there. Centaurs of the night, which opens this Friday, is a black and white experiment – the photography is by Peter Zeitlinger, collaborator of Herzog and Ferrara – starring a cast of mostly blind actors, one of the most radical and free films by the director of Paz and her brother.
