The mantra goes that radio, in the summer, sees a noticeable drop in audience due to good weather. But this is the third year that Catalan-language radio has dodged the seasonal effect and achieved excellent results. RAC1 has posted its best ever figure, rising to 1,016,000 listeners. This is the second time it has surpassed the psychological barrier of seven figures, adding 74,000 new followers compared to the previous year. Catalunya Ràdio also improves in the comparison with the summer of 2024, having then had 639,000 followers and now 680,000.
