In fact, I begged the teacher to average my grades with the theoretical exams because I would never be an accountant, only a journalist. A year later, when I was already on television, I ran into the teacher and she told me that I was right, that I wanted to be a journalist," she explains. Restless and hardworking, Llavina has ended up building a career that goes far beyond journalism.

I play it in the car, while doing manual labor, or on nights when I have trouble sleeping. More than a voice, it's a tone that accompanies me through these years in a country so in need of shelter and refuge, of spaces where, because there are so few, intelligence can find a home. Success comes when the host—an editor, a theater director, a program producer—has the authority to raise the level of those who take refuge in him. On Toni Clapés's program, the interviewees, contributors, and impersonators become more brilliant. It's instructive to hear the same voices that participate in the program on other shows.RAC1 versionto see how a contributor's performance rises in one place and falls in others. I'm not interested in current films or celebrity gossip, but inRAC1 versionIt's different. And vice versa, I'm interested in literature and politics, but I find many programs dedicated to them unbearable; they pretend to talk about literature or politics but in reality they talk about current films and celebrity gossip.

It celebrates at a sweet moment, having surpassed the psychological barrier of one million listeners in the latest wave of the EGM (General General Election). It is the leading radio station in Catalonia, the fourth in the entire country, with a diverse and intergenerational audience. The sheer volume of this success is all the more remarkable because, in these 25 years, we have experienced the explosion of the internet and digital media, and the news and entertainment offerings have multiplied. And not only have they multiplied, they have also globalized, which has been a problem—another—for Catalan-language media. But RAC1 has maintained its privileged position thanks to the talent of its professionals, the accuracy of its programmers, and a virtue that is easier to proclaim than to exercise: identification with a very broad stratum of listeners. The station's great merit is having found the right tone, something that isn't listed in any manual, something that money can't buy. A fresh and playful tone, compatible with my journalistic vocation and the ambition to be present in those moments when turning on the radio is a necessary ritual. I was fortunate enough to be part of it with a program –Absolute minority– which made me enjoy myself like never before. And I feel very satisfied.

Now a child has seen me writing and, knocking on the door excitedly, said, "Dad, there's light here!", unaware that I'm writing with the reserve of two hours and eleven minutes of battery life left in my laptop. There's a generator, of course, but we're reserving it for those who keep the website alive, just in case. And we're ready to go to the Liceu—thank you!—to continue working and ensure the publication of the newspaper if our reserves finally run out. Since Wi-Fi is also rationed, I decide to do the analog thing of going out into the street and asking people how they're getting information about what's happening. I'll be back.

The ruling, to which the court has had access, The Confidential, The National Court dismisses the journalist's appeal and states that during those years, Herrera allegedly used a "business network" to invoice his contributions to the media, saving himself up to €2,115,670.29 in taxes. According to the Tax Agency, through these companies, Herrera allegedly paid corporate tax on the contributions, and not the corresponding personal income tax bracket, thus avoiding paying more. The National Court considers that this procedure would not be correct because the income would actually have been the result of the journalist's "personal" work, and that his companies could not contribute anything. According to the Court, his company "acted as a mere collection agent," when the work would not be "attributable to it but to the partner, since it was the one who actually carried out the work invoiced to the clients."

According to the General Study of Media published yesterday, the fourth most-listened-to radio station (the focus is Spain) is RAC1, with one million listeners, more than Radio Nacional in all of Spain, and the seventh is Catalunya Ràdio, with 777,000. To understand the strength of Catalan-language radio in Catalonia, these figures can help: the two Basque channels combined make up 270,000 listeners, Canal Sur reaches 239,000, and Radio Galega 118,000. Anyone who wants to reach Catalan society must go through Catalan channels.

The top awards went to Barça plays on RAC1 (award for excellence), the documentary Women of Radio, the Radio Sound Archive, the Women on the Air project, the veteran radio host Ricky Romero (famous for working with Pere Bernal on programs such as In my own way), DANA coverage by À Punt, Alzira Radio, Aldaia Radio, and Ricard Ustrell (in the category of best professional). The awards will be presented at a gala in the foyer of Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu on May 15th, at a party that is usually the main social gathering for Catalan-language radio and which this year will be hosted by Marta Romagosa and Antoni Clapés.

The three presenters of the program, Roger Carandell, Juliana Canet and Marta Montaner, explained their decision this morning during an interview with Ricard Ustrell. "We are affected because we have caused pain and that makes us sad. We do not want this to happen again, it is something we have learned and that we are going to apply from the first minute," Montaner has reflected. The team has explained that since yesterday they have been reflecting on how to improve and set limits, so the Don't let him out of here will stop broadcasting for a period that has not been specified, but which will probably be one or two days. "We need a few hours to digest what has happened and see how we can improve the programme," Carandell said.

I had invented the name of a radio station, Radio Cataplasma, which, incomprehensibly, no one has ever used. Radio is the medium in which I started out as a journalist, it is where I wanted to work. I began to learn the trade, and so many other things, partly because I had the immense luck of sharing the five years that the programme lasted with Joan Barril and a team of fantastic people. The Republic on COM Ràdio. I still remember the pride I felt the morning a taxi driver recognized me by my voice: "You are Anna Guitart from The Republic? "Aquest Rai with whom you speak on the phone, is Rai Barba?" I'm going to explain that he escorts every morning, that he connects with everyone, and feeling part of it is going to be very special.
