Not only has this been written about in the Catalan and state media, but he has been recognized as the North American's "nemesis" by major international newspapers. Barcelona has been the culmination of this strategy, which is the only ace up Sánchez's sleeve to try to stay in Moncloa, along with the fear of PP and Vox governments that will begin to act after this regional electoral cycle.

The day after the summit of leaders from fifteen European countries and Canada to draw up a peace plan for Ukraine, the French proposal – which does not yet have the backing of the United Kingdom – is taking shape. French President Emmanuel Macron has revealed in an interview in The Figaro The idea on the table is a first one-month truce that would only affect air and sea attacks as well as attacks on energy infrastructure. The truce would therefore not apply to ground combat.

The new US administration is not exactly known for its diplomacy. This was made clear by US Vice President JD Vance at the international summit on artificial intelligence (AI) held in Paris. Trump's envoy to the meeting spoke openly and bluntly in his defence of AI without regulations or censorship that "stifles" the development of this technology. Vance argued during his speech at the summit on Tuesday that international regulation "is a terrible mistake".
