The Ministry for Ecological Transition has issued a favorable environmental impact statement for the floating offshore wind test platform that the Generalitat is promoting in the Gulf of Roses, named Plemcat. The resolution, which will be published in the BOE in the coming hours, represents the main administrative step pending for the initiative to continue its processing and move towards the tendering phase.

A week ago, Adam and his friends took a guided jet ski tour from Roses beach.However, for reasons still under investigation, as the sun set, the sixteen-year-old did not return to shore with the rest of the group. Seven days later, he remains missing. Only his jet ski was found, off the coast of Pals, about 25 kilometers south of the departure point, with a strong impact.

The Roses Town Council has officially launched an initiative that redefines the municipality's tourism promotion through the creation of four digital thematic guides. This project is born with the mission of making these publications the gateway to value tourism, and invites both visitors and residents to see Roses from a more conscious, detailed, and respectful perspective of the territory.

Three people have died this Saturday in a few minutes and in different parts of Catalonia while doing outdoor activities, as reported by the security forces of the Generalitat in a statement. It is an eighteen-year-old boy who drowned while bathing in the Llobregat river, in Berguedà; an elderly man who had done a scuba dive in Cadaqués, and a third person who died after falling down a mountain ravine in the port of Medacorba, in Pallars Sobirà.

Firefighters are working with the hypothesis that the sixteen-year-old adolescent disappeared in Roses (Alt Empordà) while riding a jet ski would have lost his vest at some point and sunk. Now, rescue efforts are focused on tracing the coast along the southern part of Roses, up to Begur and Palamós. Drones have also been flown over the Medes Islands and GRAE divers are making dives between two and four meters, taking advantage of the "acceptable" visibility in the area. Firefighters plan to trace the coast by helicopter this Saturday from Roses to Begur before suspending the search for the young man. This Friday's search will stop when night falls and will resume tomorrow morning.

The aroma of rose bushes is one of the most precious treasures for rose lovers. These shrubs fill with joy those who cultivate them and those who admire them equally. Archaeological excavations in the cloister of the Monastery of Santa Maria, at the Ciutadella de Roses site, have confirmed the existence of a large funerary complex from the 4th to the 6th centuries AD, beneath the monastery's structures. The Mossos d'Esquadra are investigating the discovery of a corpse with signs of violence in a vacant lot in Roses, in the Alt Empordà. At 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning a witness alerted that there was a corpse in a field next to the GI-610 road, which links the centre of Roses and Empuriabrava with other inland towns such as Palau-saverdera. The body shows signs of criminality and is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Mossos. The victim is a 32-year-old man, according to the ARA, and the Mossos investigators, the scientific police and the judicial delegation are at the scene to carry out the removal of the corpse.
