Perhaps she is the same agent who signs the Spanish flag with which the documentary begins and ends, with phrases like..."I too defended the unity of Spain.". But Icarus It's more than a pamphlet, of course.

In the final minute of the last episode, the protagonists arrived in Barcelona to quell the protests against the verdict in the Trials trial. One of the characters was giving a lecture to a rookie colleague:Relax, it's like anything else. You just need a little firmness and a little common sense. And if you throw in a little swagger... you've got it.But reality was less epic.

This is the pardon request filed by a private citizen to lift the disqualification sentence against Oriol Junqueras, Dolors Bassa, Jordi Turull, and Raül Romeva, which prevents them from running as candidates in elections or holding public office until 2031 in the case of Junqueras, and 2030 for the rest of the former councilors. It should be remembered that the Supreme Court denied them amnesty for the crime of embezzlement.

Instead, it proposes a nearby location, as advanced by 'Nación Digital' and confirmed to ARA by sources in Home Affairs. The resolution will be effective as of Saturday. Sources in Home Affairs have pointed out that this decision has been taken to make the right to demonstrate compatible with the right of neighbours not to suffer nuisance after three years of roadblocks. However, the decision was also influenced by calls for counter-demonstrations by unionist parties, the last of which occurred on February 1. "For weeks now there have been episodes of tension and we want to reverse this situation", the same sources remarked.

The decision, however, was not taken unanimously: magistrates Juan Antonio Xiol and Maria Luisa Balaguer wrote a dissenting opinion. They considered that the high court had to consider the appeal of the ex Minister because the sentence violated a series of rights, such as the principle of the legality of punishment, the right to personal freedom, ideological freedom and freedom of assembly. In the 26-page brief that was made public today, the two judges consider the sentence imposed on Turull "disproportionate", although they do not question the "criminal" relevance of the facts that were judged. However, they question whether they were constitutive of sedition, which is the crime for which he was convicted by the Supreme Court.

This Thursday the Provincial Court of Madrid has again postponed the imprisonment of 10 of the 14 neo-fascists who on Catalonia day in 2013 assaulted Blanquerna Cultural Centre in Madrid while it was celebrating an institutional event. Everyone remembers the images of the assailants entering with a violent and threatening attitude, launching proclamations in favour of the unity of Spain and pushing those who faced up to them, such as the then CiU MP Josep Sánchez-Llibre. They did so in broad daylight and without much concern for concealing their identity. And yet, after being sentenced to over two years in prison (between 2 years and 7 months and 2 years and 9 months) --a sentence already ratified by the Supreme Court and the Constitutional court-- none of them has spent a single day in jail. The attack, therefore, goes unpunished.
