In terms of compolIf the enemy's values are better than yours, get closer. And if your own values bother you, apply them to the enemy. Thus, the classical right has sidelined its key concepts—order, property, family, etc.—in order to appropriate the term freedomAlthough for two centuries this magic word has guided all revolutions against the old regime. First, it was appropriated by the liberals, in the name of laissez faire economic. The political power of states is declining. The large conglomerates of the new digital and financial economy are extending their reach ever further and have begun to penetrate the political arena. Is it Trump who has empowered the tech magnates in his second term as US president, or are the techno-oligarchs the ones who put him in power? Who can stop them? The new global ideological framework is democracy versus authoritarianism. And the battle is being fought largely on social media.

He always has a trick up his sleeve when it seems that the multiple crises his government has had to face have him on the ropes. This move, while raising the stakes, follows similar announcements made by France (15 years old) and Portugal (13 years old). Australia has also set the age at 16. The cybercrime unit of the Paris Prosecutor's Office searched the platform's French headquarters—formerly Twitter—on Tuesday, along with the French Gendarmerie's national cybersecurity unit and Europol, as part of an investigation opened in January 2025 into the alleged bias of some of its algorithms. Months later, the investigation expanded to include alleged crimes related to the artificial intelligence program used by X, Grok. The program is accused of facilitating the dissemination of AI-generated videos of a sexual nature—so-called deepfakes- using images of real people - mostly women - without consent, including images of minors. French authorities are also investigating Grok for the alleged dissemination of Holocaust denial ideas.

Musk has taken to social media to ask if he should buy Ryanair to fire O'Leary. He did so through a poll titled "Should I buy Ryanair and put someone who's actually named Ryan in charge?" This is the same strategy, or a very similar one, to the one Musk used when he wanted to buy X, which he ultimately did: he acquired the social network for around $44 billion. Financial TimesIt all started with an interview on Irish radio station Newstalk, where O'Leary declared that Musk "knows nothing about airplanes." He added that this high-speed satellite connection would cost $250 million (€213 million), which his passengers wouldn't be willing to pay.

"If you profit from harm and abuse, you lose the right to self-regulate," he said. premier during a meeting with the Labour group in the House of Commons. It is, so far, Downing Street's toughest clash with the tycoon, who immediately accused London, via his social media, of "looking for any excuse" to exercise censorship.

I'm not talking about a widespread collective psychological shift, although that could be the long-term consequence, but rather that cruelty is being politically sanctioned. Many common threads can be found among the leaders of the new right, but perhaps one of the most palpable is that they all speak and act in a way that clearly gives us permission to be cruel. Cruel to the losers of capitalism, who deserve it for being lazy, and cruel to other races and cultures, because they have a way of being that is bad and irreconcilable with our own. Now that most political thinkers say we are entering a post-liberal era, it seems pertinent to remember that a preoccupation with cruelty is perhaps the most distinctive feature of liberalism.

With his aura of eccentric genius, he provokes and ignites debate, but his role is not to entertain, but to reprogram power. Grokipedia is not a toy or a directionless experiment. It is an ambitious ideological project, catapulted by technological supremacy, with the objective of conquering and automating the narrative. Musk is the visible face of an elite, and Grokipedia is the icon of a system that disguises the dominance of knowledge. The manifest enemy to combat is Wikipedia, for all that it represents.

After actively and passively criticizing Wikipedia, Elon Musk is embarking on his most decisive move yet to offer the world an alternative tool to replace it as the world's leading source of free information. With the slogans "For freedom of speech" and "Unite the Kingdom," the protest demonized everything that is not white, Anglo-Saxon, and of the Christian faith. Protesters used freedom of speech to chant "Take back our country," "Kick them out," and "Stop the boats," for example. The demonstration can be described as historic, given its scale, and marks the culmination of a series of protests that have taken place throughout the summer, with migrants and asylum seekers as targets of anger and frustration. In short, a very disturbing show of ultra-right strength.
