In an interview this Tuesday on EsRadio, the Popular Party leader called on the far right to abandon its "political myopia" and "read the ballot boxes correctly." Feijóo accused Santiago Abascal's party of taking an "adolescent approach" to negotiations with the Popular Party in Extremadura, Aragon, and Castile and León and demanded they finalize a pact now. "If the PP has twice as many votes as you, and in some regions, three times as many, it is undemocratic to prevent this party from governing," he went so far as to say.

This Tuesday in the Parliament the main negotiating team, with the presence also of the vice-president, Pere Aragonès -as in the last two meetings in Lledoners prison-, has dealt with the structure of the Government. Junts has responded to the Republicans' proposal and now Esquerra will have to evaluate it. Tomorrow, Wednesday, the negotiating teams will meet again - the sectoral ones in the morning and the main ones in the afternoon - but behind closed doors, the two parties have already assumed that the negotiation is on the verge of reaching its limits.

That is to say, they are open to facilitate the investiture of Pere Aragonès and move to the opposition. Sources of Junts point out that raising this possibility is a direct reaction to the last declarations of ERC in the sense that the pact with the CUP "will not be touched". This is how Republican MPs Sergi Sabrià and Marta Vilalta protected it in statements to Efe and Europa Press, and this forcefulness has created discomfort in the ranks of the party of Carles Puigdemont. The vice-president of Junts, Elsa Artadi, affirms in an interview in the ARA that the agreement of the CUP and ERC does not "question" them. She defines as "nuclear" for her party elements such as public-private collaboration, when the pact of the Republicans with the anti-system is committed to changing semi-private schools to public ones, or creating public energy. This Sunday Vilalta has insisted on the fact that the agreement with the cupaires is untouchable: "The CUP does not have to fear anything, it is an agreement and agreements are fulfilled".

The talks between the three pro-independence parties are still open, but the anti-capitalists CUP want specifics. They want to know to what extent ERC and Junts are willing to accept the proposals that they have put forward in social and national matters before deciding the direction of their vote. In fact, they have not discarded becoming part of the executive - an option, however, they admit themselves is unlikely. The measures are basically to set a shared roadmap to re-exercise the right to self-determination and to change the current economic model to respond to the crisis. For the moment, as explained by CUP MPs Dolors Sabater, Laia Estrada and Carles Riera at a political conference in Barcelona, they have not received any specific response from either ERC or JxCat. For that reason, Sabater has asked them for an "effort" to rise to the occasion and not to look at "what the parties need, but the country". "We are in a hurry," she added.
