There is no contest. This is the feeling with which the 40,533 people present at the Camp Nou went home. Neither the torrential rains, nor the hurricane, nor the absences the team of Pere Romeu had –Laia Aleixandri, Kika Nazareth and Vicky López–, nor the improvement in the Real Madrid squad. Nothing could prevent another rout by the 'blaugranes' against their eternal rival (7-0), the biggest difference in a Barça-Madrid so far.

There are matches that are marked on the calendar in red, and this Sunday's is one of them. The Barça women's team returns to the Camp Nou to host Real Madrid (19:00 hours, DAZN), but is keeping an eye on the sky due to the risk of storms in Catalonia. The match, which was supposed to be played at 17:00 hours, has been postponed for two hours due to the forecast of extreme rain and the risk of flooding. The blue and red club had asked the League for the postponement, which it finally ended up granting. Barça Women mean business this season. Barça delivers in Logroño and returns from Las Gaunas with three more points (0-2). The goals from Mayssa Baha, who debuts as a goalscorer, and Patri Guijarro, with a chip from the edge of the area, give the victory to the blaugranes. Pere Romeu made many changes to the starting eleven to distribute minutes and give rest to the players with the heaviest workload, and Aitana Bonmatí returned to play after almost four months.

Barça kicked off a new edition of the Women's Champions League on Wednesday with a rout of Paris FC (5-2). The Blaugranes, who play this Saturday at Logroño's field (16:30, TV3), are the main favorites for the European throne, but they continue to represent an oasis in the rest of the Spanish state. The Liga F began its fifth season as a professional competition just last August. Since then, growth has been exponential, but there is still a long way to go.

With a renewed team –Alexia Putellas will not play in the top European club competition for the first time in fifteen years–, the Catalans once again dominated on the pitch and on the scoreboard.

This Tuesday begins a new edition of the Women's Champions League. While Hansi Flick's side wins, enjoys itself, and convinces on the pitch –on Saturday with a new triumph at Sevilla's ground (1-3)–, José Mourinho cannot seem to find the key to making a team play that has a lot of quality, but does not know how to translate it into the game. On Sunday, they fell at the Metropolitano and suffered their second defeat in the League. Atlético de Madrid took advantage of a penalty and a sending off of Huijsen to take the lead on the scoreboard, and the final 2-1 could have been wider if Courtois and Rüdiger had not prevented it.

A state of euphoria has settled at the Nova Creu Alta. Sabadell claims its third victory of the season –all of them at home– and consolidates its position in the upper part of the standings. The team from the Vallès region is one of the great revelations of this term in the Second Division and, this Sunday, they also defeated Oviedo (3-1). They did so without forward Nicholas Gioacchini, who will be away from the pitch for several months due to an injury.

The blaugranes learned from their mistakes and, unlike other years, did not rush with the score against them.

Barça Women continues its upward trajectory on the pitch –where it is the team to beat–, but also off the field of play. The blaugrana entity has closed the 2025-26 financial year with a positive profit of 8.525 million euros. Exceptional figures that make women's and men's football the only two branches of the club with a positive result. The data also show a clear upward trend for Barça Women, which has gone from having losses of 2.8 million euros in 2021 to a profit of 8.5 million in 2026. Furthermore, in the last year the result of the financial year has quadrupled, going from 2 million euros to 8.5 million.

Barça thrashed Feyenoord 5-1in their Champions League debut and confirmed the good feelings of the last few weeks. The Blaugrana returned to showing their best version and have already scored 22 goals in five matches. With an average of 4.4 goals per game, they are the team from the main European leagues that has scored the most at the start of this competition, and only in one match—against Athletic Club—did they not reach five goals.
