The Supreme Court has set compensation of 2.5 million euros for Ahmed Tommouhi, who spent 15 years in prison, wrongly convicted because he was mistaken for another man who had committed a dozen sexual assaults and whom he physically resembled. Now justice establishes that the State will have to compensate for this error with compensation.

The healthcare professionals at Vall d'Hebron Hospital who treated the abused infant admitted to the ICU agree that the child's injuries were not accidental and consider them consistent with child abuse. Five professionals testified this Thursday before the judge investigating the infant's parents for alleged abuse, injuries, and sexual assault. According to sources present at the testimony, these professionals stated that some of these injuries posed a life-threatening risk to the baby, who was five weeks old when admitted to the hospital and spent a month hospitalized. He is now with a foster family and his health is improving.

Justice has rejected the lawsuit with which the Archbishop of Barcelona, Joan Josep Omella, accused a victim of pedophilia of threats. The victim had reproached him for his "inaction in reporting" ex officio the abuses he had suffered by a priest and which he himself had communicated to him in previous meetings. One of the turning points in the investigation into the death of Isak Andic, founder of Mango, was when the Mossos d'Esquadra accessed the content of his mobile phone. There they found several conversations in derogatory terms with his son, Jonathan Andic, the person with whom he was on a route through the Collbató caves on the day he died. The judge in the case speaks of messages "of hatred, of resentment, of ideas of death". The Supreme Court considers that people with a "particularly close connection" have the right to judicially intervene against the decision of a patient who wishes to receive euthanasia.
