The Supreme Court has denied the Senate's request to release José Luis Ábalos from Soto del Real prison to appear before the Senate's Koldo case investigation committee. The People's Party (PP) requested his release a week ago, and Judge Leopoldo Puente has now rejected it due to the PP's "unusually haste."
