The Spanish government honors former ministers Ribera and Escrivá with the Grand Cross of Charles III.

The Spanish government has awarded former ministers Teresa Ribera, current Vice President of the European Commission, and José Luis Escrivá, now Governor of the Bank of Spain, the Grand Cross of the Royal and Distinguished Order of Carlos III. The award was approved by the Council of Ministers at the proposal of Pedro Sánchez.
