The Prosecutor's Office is requesting amnesty for around forty former officials of the Generalitat (Catalan government) and businessmen prosecuted for the preparations for the 1-O referendum and the internationalization of the process. Among those under investigation are former minister Raül Romeva and former senior officials such as Antoni Molons, Jaume Clotet, and Joaquim Nin.
