The lawyer Jacobo Teijelo, who defends Santos Cerdán along with Benet Salellas, explained to the judge in the Leire Díez case that the PSOE hired him to find out what would happen with the cases involving the party's circle and Pedro Sánchez. According to the Civil Guard, in return he received 125,000 euros.
