The General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) has opened disciplinary proceedings against Judge Eloy Velasco for "serious disregard" of Irene Montero.

The General Council of the Judiciary has ordered the disciplinary action prosecutor to open disciplinary proceedings against Judge Eloy Velasco for having said: "A thousand things that Irene Montero will never learn from her Mercadona cashier or teach the rest of us."
