The former director of the National Council of National Intelligence (CNI) will testify as a defendant in the alleged spying on ERC with Pegasus.

Barcelona's 20th Investigative Court summoned former CNI director Paz Esteban to testify on September 29th as a defendant for allegedly spying on ERC officials with Pegasus, after the Barcelona Court ruled that there was a "strong suspicion of criminal authorship" against Esteban.
