CUP MP Dani Cornellà lamented the government's suspension of Sant Jordi events not linked to cultural promotion due to the Pope's death. "We don't understand how, in a secular state, three days of institutional mourning are declared and changes are made to Sant Jordi Day," he stated at a press conference.
