"I want to apologize to the educational union for this feeling of distrust," stated the minister. Parlon admitted that camouflaging oneself in an assembly was a "poorly planned maneuver." "Sometimes mistakes are made, which is the case we are dealing with," she said. Likewise, the head of the Interior has asked that "this unfortunate event" not cast doubt on "the professionalism of the Mossos corps." "It was not a political decision, it was a poorly planned maneuver. Unnecessary risks were taken," she stated.

Parlon also announced that they will activate the procedure for reserved information to find out how this action occurred. "This error will be clearly evaluated," she stated, adding that there was no bad faith: "It was a well-intentioned operational maneuver, but poorly planned." According to Interior sources, Parlon has asked the chief commissioner of the Mossos, Miquel Esquius, and the director-general of the police, Josep Lluís Trapero, for a formal review of the procedure that was carried out during this action. Parlon clarified that neither she, nor Esquius, nor Trapero knew about this operation at the Pau Claris institute.
