Parliament demands official status for Catalan sports teams

This Thursday, the Parliament endorsed a motion by Junts (Together for the Catalan Nationalist Party) calling for the State to "officially recognize Catalan national sports teams and always allow their participation in official international competitions." In addition to the members of the regional council, the motion was endorsed by the PSC (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party), ERC (Republic of Catalonia), Comuns (Communist Party), CUP (Cup), and Aliança (Aliança).
