"Pedro Sánchez to prison": demonstration in Madrid in support of Ceuta, but above all against the government

MadridNew demonstration in Madrid in support of Ceuta... and against Pedro Sánchez. The entity Sociedad Civil Española has called a march this Saturday for the "dignity" of the autonomous city in which both PP and Vox leaders are also participating. However, the manifesto calling for the protest goes beyond Ceuta; in fact, it speaks little of the crisis the city is experiencing following the massive influx of migrants on July 30. It states: "We call to demonstrate rejection of an infamous government and we demand general elections", it summarizes. Just as the march began, at 10 in the morning, the animosity against the president of the Spanish government was already noticeable with the predominant chants: "Pedro Sánchez, son of a bitch", "Sánchez to prison", "Spain one and not 51" or "Ceuta is not for sale, it is defended". According to the Spanish government delegation in Madrid, it has gathered 20,000 attendees.

In fact, their requests collected in a call manifesto, apart from elections now, were the following: to initiate a procedure to judge Pedro Sánchez for treason, activating article 102 of the Constitution, and the immediate militarization of Ceuta and Melilla for the "expulsion of all the invaders".

The PP and Vox have supported the organizers, although the populars are not sending their leader, Alberto Nuñez Feijóo. Present are the secretary general, Miguel Tellado, who is one of the rhetorically toughest leaders, and the spokesperson in the Senate, Alicia Garcia. On behalf of Vox, the top leader, Santiago Abascal, has attended.
