Miriam Nogueras knocks out Pedro Sánchez in a Juntos video game

The council members criticize him for blocking laws against jobs and repeat offenders.

BarcelonaOn the same day that Junts announced I veto about fifty laws from the PSOE and Sumar parties. In Congress, to block legislative activity after announcing last week that they will no longer support Pedro Sánchez due to his breaches of agreements, the Junts party staged their protest with a video game simulation. This was done through a social media post shared by Josep Maria Cruset, a member of parliament for Carles Puigdemont's party, and also by the party's leader in Madrid, Miriam Nogueras.

After the PSOE downplayed the split, they posed the following question with a video game depicting Miriam Nogueras, the Junts spokesperson in Congress, facing off against Spanish President Pedro Sánchez in combat mode. "The PSOE thought it was a game, but what if it really was? Got a coin?" Insert coin“,” Cruset says in the video on social media. Immediately afterward, Nogueras is seen facing Sánchez with a three-second countdown. “How do you see the political situation, Mr. Sánchez?” the deputy asks. “I would say we can be proud of what is being approved here,” the Spanish president replies. Here begins Nogueras’s attack: “How many self-employed workers are being persecuted by you every day to make them return the aid they received during Covid?” Sánchez responds: “What do you want me to say? This is the government that has done the most for the self-employed in the entire history of democracy.” “How many self-employed workers will have to close their businesses if you continue to suffocate them?” he reproaches him while playfully kicking him in the head, though the kick misses. The tally of “blows” continues: “How many social housing units have you built in Catalonia, Mr. Sánchez?” “How many apartments are still occupied in Catalonia while here you block Junts’s law against squatting?” How many criminals are still on the streets while they block Junts' law against multiple recidivism? I'm finished, Mr. Sánchez, perhaps we should talk less about changing the clocks and start talking about the moment of change," he concludes, launching an attack in the style of Kamehameha of Son Goku that ends with Sánchez knocked out and Nogueras' victory.
