The mayor of Tortosa, Jordi Jordan (Movem Tortosa), will announce his resignation at the plenary session next Monday, and the position will pass to the ERC party, according to the governing agreement. The expectation is that Mar Lleixà, also from the ERC, will be sworn in as the new mayor on January 10.
