Isla is open to resuming a joint bid with Aragon for the Winter Olympics.

The President of the Generalitat (Catalan Government), Salvador Illa, expressed his "complete agreement" with the proposal of the Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, Pilar Alegría, to reinstate the joint Aragó-Catalunya bid to host the Winter Olympic Games.
