Four former mayors of Ripoll have submitted a manifesto to the City Council denouncing the "Catalan Alliance" as an authoritarian, repressive, and sectarian party that commits "institutional violence." It was signed by Pere Jordi Piella, the first mayor after the Franco regime, Jaume Camps, Teresa Jordà, and Jordi Munell.
