Feijóo's only alternative candidate withdraws from the race to preside over the PP.

The only alternative candidate running against Alberto Núñez Feijóo for the PP presidency has withdrawn from the race for the party congress. José Luis Bayo, a member in the Valencian Community, failed to provide the necessary endorsements. Bayo had no chance against the current PP president.
