Elon Musk calls Irene Montero a "genocidal maniac" after she called for "replacing" fascists
The confrontation stems from statements made by the Podemos leader in which she celebrated the regularization of migrants.
BarcelonaClash on social media between Elon Musk and Irene Montero: the tech magnate has accused the Podemos MEP of being a "genocidal maniac." She responded by calling on "decent people" to "replace" the billionaire – who has appeared in the Epstein files– so that she stops “raping” and “killing.” However, it all began with statements by the left-wing leader in which she defended the extraordinary regularization of migrants in Spain.
Saturday night, the far-right profile HerQles echoed on X, the old Twitter, a statement by Montero in which she called for going beyond the regularization of half a million people approved by the Spanish government and grant them citizenship or allow them to vote. She added: "I wish the replacement theory were true."
"The leader of the Spanish far left admits at an event that she is in favor of replacing the native population with foreigners to alter the voting dynamics," HerQles asserted in his tweet, manipulating Montero's words. The former minister had added: "I hope we can sweep this country of fascists and racists with migrants and working people. Of course I want there to be replacement. Replacement of fascists, racists, and freeloaders."
Be that as it may, the Dutch far-right activist Eva Vlaardingerbroek seized upon the manipulation in another message, claiming that "this woman, who calls for the replacement of white people, is married to a white man and has three white children." "This level of betrayal can only be described as extreme pathology or pure evil," she added in her message. And Musk chimed in: "[Montero] defends genocide. Absolutely despicable," he declared.
Musk, owner of X, launched his accusation this Sunday at midday, and hours later the Podemos leader responded forcefully. "Of course, decent people—who are the majority of humanity—need to replace her. Urgently. Because she stops raping, bombing, kidnapping children, and killing," she told him in a message in English.
His message was headed by a quote from the message Musk had sent to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as documented in an email revealed on Friday In the context of the declassification of files belonging to the sex offender, the magnate asked Epstein, "What day will be the wildest party on your island?"
Podemos leader Ione Belarra also lashed out at Musk in defense of Montero. "Fewer fascists who are friends with genocidal Zionists and who appear on the Epstein list, and more decent, hardworking people," she wrote this Sunday, also in X. She added: "This is the world we will fight for against this neo-feudal scum. All my support to Irene Montero."
