Catalan will also be available in the plenary session of the EU Economic and Social Committee.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has signed an agreement with the European Economic and Social Committee allowing Catalan and the other co-official languages of the Spanish State to be used in the institution's plenary sessions, as is already the case with the Council of the European Union and the Committee of the Regions.
