Madrid"It is for sale," bye fish". In this way, the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has tried this Monday to close the controversy over the purchase of the luxury penthouse in Chamberí by the regional government. A way to get rid of the pressure coming from her own party: this Sunday it was the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who considered that the Heritage of the Community of Madrid had to give explanations for having acquired a property that could not be used as an office.

"I think we've said it all. If they keep asking every politician who returns from vacation, they'll have a new headline. It's a property for offices and it's for sale. They wanted to connect it to a home. Once again, the opposition is getting tangled up to achieve nothing – he said –. This gum can't be stretched any further".

Well, although Ayuso attributes the controversy to the opposition, the truth is that it has also generated internal doubts, since the explanations given by those close to the Madrid president have not been understood. The PP spokesperson, Borja Sémper, has avoided commenting on the penthouse issue. In fact, as soon as the press conference began, the popular leader said that the only thing that had occupied them at the meeting of the PP's state leadership was Ceuta. "I have no further information. Ceuta occupies all our time. The Community of Madrid's response is the reasonable one," assured Sémper, who at all times emphasized that Feijóo is focused on helping to resolve the crisis. "He speaks every day with Mr. Rivas," he highlighted, referring to the president of the autonomous city.

However, in recent weeks, there have been popular leaders who have publicly expressed their bewilderment. This is the case of the deputy spokesperson, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, or the former president of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre. The right-wing media space, such as El Mundo and ABC, has also shown itself to be critical. For this reason, for many, also following the management of the fires, this is the worst moment for Ayuso.
