The 90s Superman announces he's joining Donald Trump's Immigration Service.
Dean Cain was one of the stars of the series 'Lois & Clark'
BarcelonaDean Cain, who played Superman in the television series from 1993 to 1997 Lois & Clark, has announced his imminent incorporation into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the U.S. government agency implementing Donald Trump's mass immigrant deportation policies. "I felt it was important to help ensure the safety of all Americans," says the actor, who makes no secret of his support for the MAGA movement. "Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals, including terrorists, rapists, murderers, pedophiles, gang members, and drug dealers; very dangerous people who shouldn't be on the streets."
Cain's announcement, which explained his purpose on Tuesday in an Instagram video and later in an interview on Fox News, coincides with a recruitment campaign by the Immigration Service who wants to recruit 10,000 new immigration agents with a bonus of 50,000 euros. "America has been invaded by criminals and predators. We need you to kick them out," says the website he has set up for ICE. According to independent studies, 65% of the more than 200,000 people arrested by ICE had not committed a crime, and 93% had not committed a violent crime.
Cain, 59, says he already holds the nominal title of deputy sheriff and is a "reserve law enforcement officer," and that he will be sworn in as an immigration agent "as soon as possible." The actor was already at the heart of the MAGA movement's voices that criticized the new Superman movie for being "too woke" and its director, James Gunn, for statements in which he highlighted the "immigrant status" of the characters.
"We already know that Superman is an immigrant, he's a fucking alien!" –the actor explained to TMZ–. Superman has always defended truth, justice and the American way, and the American way is tremendously friendly to the United States. "But there are rules. I want to be more like Somalia. There have to be limits, because we can't welcome everyone or our society will fail."
During his interview with Fox News, Cain explained that his motivation for becoming an immigration agent was "to help protect his country," and that the United States was a country "built by patriots who stepped up," and that joining ICE was "the right decision." "We have a broken immigration system," he added. "Congress should fix it, but in the meantime, President Trump is taking care of it. He's doing his job. The people voted for him to do this, I voted for him to do this. And I'll do my part too." a recent profile on VarietyCain made his support for Trump clear: "I love President Trump. We've been friends forever. And Trump is one of the most empathetic, wonderful, and generous people I've ever met."
