The couple loads their suitcases into the car and shares a kiss before heading off on a three-day getaway to a rural hotel in the province of Guadalajara, according to the information published by the magazine. During their stay, both were photographed walking hand in hand and acting affectionately through the streets of Sigüenza. The magazine ¡Hola!, also dedicates its cover to the couple and publishes images of the trip, which reinforce the idea that the relationship is continuing after months of discretion.

The news comes six months after the magazine Lecturas published the first images of the two performers kissing in the middle of the Madrid night. Those photographs made public a relationship that until then had not transcended, even though the actors had already met while working together on the series Velvet, where they starred in a love story. Since then, both have kept their private life on the sidelines of public statements, although they have been photographed together on other occasions, such as during getaways to Santander and Trujillo. One of the aspects that has generated the most comments regarding the relationship is the age difference between the two: Sánchez-Gijón is fifty-seven years old and Iglesias is thirty-five, a difference of twenty-two years.
