BarcelonaPrince Harry and Meghan of Sussex have gone on vacation to a remote Scottish island valued at over 110 million euros. The Secret Paradise, as Prince Harry has defined it on occasion, is Tanera Mòr, the largest of the Summer Isles in the Scottish Highlands region. The island served as inspiration for the cult horror film The wicker man (1973), and in 2017 it was acquired by investment fund magnate Ian Wace. According to the Daily Mail, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not visited Balmoral Castle, the Scottish residence of the British royal family, during their trip to the United Kingdom.

The British financial magnate has turned Tanera Mòr into a luxurious retreat for people who have served in the armed forces or emergency services. Through the charitable foundation Taigh Mor Foundation, army veterans collaborate in restoration, fishing, and cultivation tasks on the island. Ian Wace has maintained a close relationship with Prince Harry and his brother William, Prince of Wales, for years. A few days ago, Meghan Markle shared some photographs on an Instagram post with the text "Summer holidays".
