Under Trump (and Musk, and his cronies), the doctrine defended by the Heritage Foundation has been condensed into a government program: a document entitled Project 2025 which as a great contribution represents the change from liberalism to ultra-liberalism. Its purpose is to end a model that the authors of the document call "the progressive resistance", which would be the left-handed and the reds of those who abhor people like Milei in Argentina and Vox and the Popular Party in Spain. To this end, they propose to reinforce borders (mass deportation policy with illegal immigrants detained as criminals, construction of a wall on the Mexican border), to free up energy production in the US to reduce prices (extreme protectionism, autarky, climate change denialism), to do so and from Congress, and to prohibit (they place it among the most urgent priorities) that "biological males" participate in women's sports competitions.
The Project 2025 program involves the systematic dismantling of social policies. Not only those of the Biden administration: the agenda of the "Presidential Transition Project", which is the deployment of Project 2025, seems to want to impose a revisionist and involutionist roadmap that returns the United States to the situation before the New Deal, the broad economic and social doctrine promoted by President Roosevelt. one hundred or one hundred years ago, challenging the reformist measures that made possible the emergence of welfare societies and have given consistency to social democracy during the 20th century and what we have seen of the 21st.
In short, a rather vulgar gang of poor stranglers who intend to reverse the social progress of an entire century.
