Following Junts' vote against the two housing decrees, Rufián asserted that he would strive to ensure Junts ends up in “the greatest political ostracism.” Later, on social media, he considered them “shitty classists,” and Turull retorted by saying that everyone knows that Rufián is “an invention of the State's sewers, infiltrated first into Súmate and then into Esquerra.” And yesterday, on TVE, Colau said that Puigdemont “will have trouble walking through Catalonia because he will encounter a very angry citizenry” due to Junts' opposing vote on the decrees.

Many thanks to the pro-independence supporters who have worked conscientiously to end any form of unity of action and dignified representation for the entire movement, and who have strived to maintain their bad tone until the end of the implementation of the amnesty, especially the head of Esquerra in Congress, imbued with his role as the moral reserve of the Spanish left. One would expect more humanity and more respect from someone who has been mayor of Barcelona for eight years when speaking about a president of the Generalitat who has had to spend nine years in exile, demonized as public enemy number one of Spain, and who is already threatened enough that he will return by fascism.

And in Madrid, in less than 24 hours, Ayuso has said that “no one should think of voting by mail,” and Abascal has asked that the elections be free and “without violence.”

They can spare us this theater of seeing who can say the biggest thing, because we know it by heart, because it is dangerous, and because, deep down, it reveals that they have very little to offer us. Thinking that we need massive doses of fear and hatred to go and vote for them, they are insulting people's intelligence.
