The athlete from Onil, Eusebio Cáceres, with a jump of 7,98m in his first attempt, has been fifth in the Long Jump qualifying heat (ninth in the general classification) and has qualified for the final. Cuba's Juan Miguel Echevarria (8.50m) was the best.
