The 080 Barcelona Fashion The 35th edition of the event has concluded by reinforcing its commitment to internationalization, one of the key pillars for positioning Barcelona and Catalonia as leaders in the world of fashion. Promoted by the Government of Catalonia through the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts, and Fashion (CCAM) of the Department of Business and Employment, the platform reinforces its transformative mission by promoting creative talent and establishing synergies with the industry. Currently, the Catalan fashion sector has more than 13,500 companies, generates an annual turnover of €14.5 billion, and employs more than 80,000 people.

For this edition, the fashion platform featured a new graphic image, Metamorphosis, reflecting its constant evolution. An identity that not only aims to represent fashion, but also acts as an agent of change in cultural perception and fosters a continuous dialogue between fashion and related creative disciplines. A design created to connect emotionally with a global audience, ready to witness and participate in the reinvention of fashion in Barcelona.

24 designers and fashion brands

Over four days - from April 1 to 4 - the San Pablo Art Nouveau Site hosted the shows of 24 designers and fashion brands: 404 Studio, AAA Studio, Acromatyx, Alvar Merino, Anel Yaos, Cuenta Spain, Custo Barcelona, ​​​​Doblas, Dominnico, Eikō Guillermo Justicia, Habey Club, Juan Vidal, Lola Casademunt by Maite, Maison Moonsieur, MANÉMANÉ, María Escoté, Rubearth, Simorra, The Label Edition and Txell Miras.

This year, the number of brands participating for the first time on the platform has increased, attracted by its international reach and values. Emerging brands and new talents have shared space with more established brands, all of them committed to and committed to the values of 080 Barcelona Fashion.

More than 3,000 visitors in the Open Area

The 35th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion has achieved success figures and has consolidated its global reach: more than 3,000 visitors have been able to enjoy this open-air space where they can watch the shows in motion and live a unique experience enjoying the best street style.

This edition has consolidated the platform as one of the most prominent showcases of interest on the international scene and has attracted the attention of professionals from around the world. A total of 614 accredited journalists and content creators attended, including 136 from abroad. Over the four days, audiences from countries such as Italy, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States came to Barcelona. These figures demonstrate the growing recognition of the platform as a benchmark in the sector.

In the digital sphere, views on Instagram and YouTube have increased in streaming., with the creation of static and video content, with global event coverage, from the parades to the backstage.

Connection between fashion and craftsmanship

Craftsmanship has been a key feature in all the collections, blending contemporary creativity with traditional crafts, offering a showcase of the richness of artisanal techniques. From embroidery to leatherwork, the brands have incorporated elements that celebrate the crafts that are part of their DNA.

The collections have featured a wide variety of accessories, such as bags, maximalist jewelry and costume jewelry, as well as shoes: many of the shoes customized by the brands to complement the looks, which saidhighlighting this connection between fashion and craftsmanship.
